Hi there,
after a long fight with my antivirus I final enter your foroum
I tried to flash me dm500hd sim2.1 which had bootloader 83.
I flash bootloader 84 with sunray but never finish.
since that I cannot connect to the dm500hd at any way.
I tried sunray flashup once again, from my laptop and from another pc but nothing, also tried the old power button and power on trick but doesn't work.
I check cables and so on, after a long search I found YOU!
I read a lot of discussions in the forum and I also tried optiflasher but once again the program is not recognize that I turned on the device when it ask for it :(
any idea for that?

If you try to connect Optiflasher with your box..what message shown in optflasher?

I don't think that they help a lot.
just waiting for the box to power on.
but I did it and there is no response...
I also check with hyperterminal section.. and all i get is these:

you are right! sim 210.
I tried with Baudrate 57600 and i chose to sectors recovery at settings and detect it.
IT WORKS :)
now i'm flashing back the image.
i hope that it will work normally.
this is an excellent tool that you develop

Definitely you are right your sim is sim210 T2 from Sim2 Team ... but very stranger your box not recognize with optiflasher
Did you tried "SUNRAY-FlashUP" this tools special dreamup for sim2 try it for Test ..
