Title: SOLVED R01: NO CA FOUND

Hello,

Newbie here.

I have been given a DM800 SE unit with the NO CA FOUND error.

I believe this is a clone unit.

The SIM is 210

I have downloaded the NCF Repair Tool v2.5

I connected the DM800SE with RJ45 to router, and my laptop is also connected to the router via RJ45. The laptop is also connected to the DM800SE with USB Cable on COM 4.

When I run the repair tool, it says power on the DB, which I do, but then nothing happens.

Can anybody please help ?

Thanks

Mean there's no detection with software !
Is the usb driver installed correct without any conflit ?
Check the device manager & see COM4 under wich name (Full name) !

Hi Yassinov,

Thank you for the quick reply.

Under Device Manager (Win 7 SP1), there are no conflicts (yellow exclaimation marks).

The Device is under Ports (COM & LPT).

The full name is Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM4).

If I disconnect the DM800SE, this entry disappears, and when I plug it in, it appears.

Thanks

Hi Yassinov,

I have checked the DM800SE, and there is no button on the back that says 'Mini FlashUp'.

I am available at home now, so if you can check online, that will be fantastic.

Please tell me you would like me to do.

Thanks

A BIG THANK YOU to Yassinov, who put in his own time to try & help me.

Even though we couldn't fix it, I fully appreciate the effort he put in.

You are a STAR !
