hi mate I had the same problem and it was nearly to use my box for parts after i had to do the final thing:
This is what i did
You had to have 2 dm800 one that is working and the other one that does not communicate with your RS232, DreamUp pacht, putty, hyperterminal, Optiflasher or anything.

All you have to do is:
1. connect the working DM800 with dreamUp1339
2. Let the dreamUp to find the working Dm800 and to upload flash loader
3. after this remove the power and the RS232 from the working dreambox without disconnecting the dreamup
4. connect the RS232, Lan and Power to your dreambox
5. brows from flash button in the dreamUP for a NAND image and look to your dreambox that it has been given an IP
6. put your IP in your brouser and chose a Image for me it works this
(Nemesis2.4 patched by voyger sim2.0.1-dm800-e2-OE(1.6)-SVN(101r1))
hope this helps you MATE it worked for me

Regards
