DM800SE clone
Ferrari SIM, don't no version
Image not known
2nd failed message

Friend brought a DM800SE to me. I've no clue what image is loaded or what Ferrari SIM version it is in it (see attached pic). Can anybody tell what version of Ferrari? On the motherboard it is written HIGO24 Rev:D 2010-10-22 (quite old for a 800SE isn't it?).
When started it only states "2nd failed".
Tried to connect with Optiflasher v2.0.0.4 Reg to use repair no ca found correction, but box are not recognized.
Have tried with other SIM from working box, but nothing better happened. Also tried usual solution with pushing SIM card holder and so forth.
Box hasn't got a mini flash up button :(
Connected box by means of Hyperteminal but only got rubbish back (see attachment).
Suspects a hardware failure, anyone with another idea? For me USB interface problem is one probable cause, or is it on a "lower" level?

Tried all suggestions on other threads, but it seems like all other people(or their software) with this problem are able to recognize their boxes, but I cannot.

Suggestions to what next step could be? Can I bypass USB and use some other way to reflash?

P.s: should be use both cables to gather (Lan + mini usb) cables...And try to connect box with pc by direct with out router..

Well, the first link you suggested I've already been at. The second is a broken link so no new info there.

But, connect Lan, is that really a possibility when I've got 2nd faillure message, the box isn't yet "networked" by then... Am I wrong?

What and where is the chip i'm flashing? Can I remove it and put it into a working DM800SE and reflash it there and then "reimplant" it in this broken one?

Sorry..Second link fixed...

As i mentioned in my previous replay...
DM500HD and DM800se, should be use both cable to gather to fix (No CA Found) because those boxes use mini usb cable not null cable, just put it to box and do (How to Fix No Ca found)
DM800 and DM8000 only to use null cable without lan cable to fix that issue ...

Also Check back to box did you have small button (mini flash button), If your box have it just press and hold then open power to box and holding to button until to see IP on front small screen panel then put Ip in browser and flash new image...

Sorry, box does not have the mini flash up button.
Strange things happen. When box is "cold" OptiFlasher and FerrrariFiller/DreamUp manage to recognize the box, but whenever you restart the box "warm" it is no longer recongnized.
What image would you suggest I load? When I managed to connect via web the box showed SSL79? and I had CRC errors when trying to load a OpenPli image from DreamOEM web page. Suggestion?

Should be flash only patched image for Ferrari Sim ...
