I have 2 x dm800 simcard 2.01. When you plug the power to them all i get on the screen is DREAM multimedia then after a few seconds it switches to DREAM MULTIMEDIA ->>>ERROR!!

Ive tried the NO CA repair option on the software but it still same.

Ive also tried flashing new image but it still same.

Ive tried using just the rs232 and also rs232 + lan both produce same results.

You don't need to repair your Dreambox. It just means that the flashrom with
the graphical menu was erased. You can restore this with a tool like DreamUp
with serial access.

I would also like to state that ive already tried the NO CA repair for 4 different bootloaders and it says flashed successfully then when u reboot them the same error occurs.

Also ive tried dreamup to fix these and it produces the NO CA error on screen which is annoying cause i try this and it doesnt solve it so dreamup also doesnt work.

Ive also tried just flashing a new image to the box using optiflasher and still same error

Really annoying im hoping someone can help or show me how dumb im being lol.

Ok...
First to make clear for you read carefully..
1-"NO CA FOUND" This problem come for flash box by wrong bootloader (SSl).
2-"DREAM MULTIMEDIA ->>>ERROR!!" It is Very different and bad error and in most cases not be repaired, The problem is sim not connect with motherboard because one of the two:
*Sim defective and you can not fix only by card reader from here you can buy it and try to fix sim or buy new sim..

*Sim maybe not in right place must be make sure in correct area.

So..do this:
1-open Screws from box and then open it.
2-remove sim card and clean it from dust and also clean sim holder and pins carefully.
3-Return sim and make sure in correct area.
4-Download right bootloader for your sim (SSl) then flash your box and when you flash box try to push sim and keep holding (Be careful not to touch the metal parts to avoid the electricity)..
5-Unplug and plug box...if you boot find it is ok...if you get NO CA FOUND your sim ok and want to flash another SSl make sure right one.. if still DREAM MULTIMEDIA ->>>ERROR!! then sim was corrupted (buy another one or fix it by card reader)

fairbird you have saved the day :-) I cleaned the simcard and now both are working once i reflashed them both.
