Title: No Ca Found

I have been trying to connect this dm800 with sim 2.10 to dreamup all day but could not get a connection. I used hyperterminal but could not get a good read out with baud rates at 115200 or 57600 but it will read normally at 38400.

Is it possible to flash using hyperterminal or change the baud rate on the dm800? The no CA tool uses 115200 or 57600. Dreamup uses 115200.

I also tried an old sim 2.0 but with the same results

Any other ideas for this.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have read through all them posts but nothing helpful.
I have fixed a dm800 with no ca found error on another box with optiflasher and had no problems. I have tried 3 null modem cables. I think the problem is the baud rate. I connected my dm500 up to dreamup and it connected ok at 115200. No ca tool does not detect the box when powered.

Thanks

Make sure Firewall and anti virus tools not block optiflasher

Just tried a fresh install of windows xp still the same. Hyper terminal will only communicate properly at 34800. all the tools to fix it need to be @ 57600 or 115200 is there anyway to change the baudrate in dream up, I looked in hex edit but I can't see anything that stands out.

Thanks

Here is a print out at 38400 baud rate, The first one is a sim 2.10 the second is a sim 2. I was going to buy another sim but i still wont be able to flash. i think the baudrate has been set to 38400 at some point by someone. can i reset the bios on dm800?

I have tried from 2 pc's windows 7 and fresh install of windows xp and 1 laptop with windows 8

i have tried onboard com port and usb com port

*****I just had it on putty and when i right clicked on putty screen it went to serial connection mode on the display and in putty it said serial loop mode. but i couldn't do anything. Dreamup said file too big and wont connect i tried to press s for setup but nothing.

I switched the dm800 off and on a few times and each time i could get it to go to serial connection by right clicking on putty screen.

I went onto xp hoping hyperterminal would let me press s but now i cant get it to serial mode.*****

Update, In putty again and i just frantically started pressing buttons on the keyboard and it has started booting but it is stuck. im going to try 1 key at a time until i find out whats going on.
