Hi there,

I got infamous "no ca found" upon choosing wrong ssl.
I tried with any possible tool to flash but to no avail.

Each time just like with optiflasher enigma2 edition it would stuck on "Sending Flash Loader". To be be more precise percentage bar progresses very very slow.
It took 24 hours to come to 100%, but then nothing happened afterwards.
Same would happen with DreamUP.
In Optiflasher I clicked on all correct options including Sector Recovery (which is highlighted in red font).

I got status Optiflasher Key Not Registered flashing in the status bar of the tool, and wonder is this something preventing tool to the job correctly.

Any help or advise appreciated.

Thanks,

Sure, as I am newly registered forum user apologies for missing essential mandatory information.

Ok, following is the information.

1. dm800hd (i think it's not a se version since there is no color oled)
2. clone
3. sim 2.10
4. no ca found after flashing image (trying to replace old #76c with #84)

In addition, yesterday I tried to flash using NFC tool (dm connected with rs232 only) and noticed that this time "sending flash loader" took only few seconds to go to 47% but then the rest was slowly progressing until 100%. And that took 5/6 hours. Finally at the end of 100% there was no any message, on nfc tool, confirming anything. Just nothing.

Kind Regards,

To add latest on top of the rest.
This morning tried to use Sunray FlashUp (Sim4 500hd 800se 800 V1.3.3.7) with recover bad sectors.
What happened was that upload of the flasher took few seconds (very quick) , but then it stuck again on the message "upload complete, waiting for acknowledgment". And interestingly display on dm800 changed from "Dreambox" (which normally appears each time when power button pressed down before powering dm itself) to "no ca found error". Don't know maybe this Sunray tool Sim4 version makes difference, not sure.
No problem at all..
Try with Optiflasher...(Repair [No Ca Found])

Select (DM800-Sim2.01-SSl84b)
Latest update as follows for those who have similar problems.

I took my old laptop, running xp. Install all drivers needed for USB to rs232 I use to connect to my dm800.
Then magic just happened so sudden. I used NFC tool and chose sim2 ssl76c.
All went just fine all the way to the message confirming successful repair.
And message on dm changed too, showing IP address 192.168.1.77 (probably factory default) as well as notification #Serial mode#.
Now, I am very reluctant to switch off dm800 since it might go back to no ca found.
So, please could you advice what's the next step I should do to complete such a painstaking journey?

Regards,
See me previous replay...
Dear fairbird,

If you mean, by you previous reply, the link you specified then I'm afraid it's broken. 404 page not found.

Please advise, thanks.
Sorry, link was fixed...
Thanks fairbird.

But would you be kind and briefly elaborate, for the sake of me and other members who might have same or similar issues like mine, why initial success is not good.

So, to remind you, I ran NCF which finished with optimistic message "NO CA FOUND Repaired Successfully", after which dm800 led display (connected to PC with USB-R232) turned to 192.168.1.77 #Serial mode#.
What does it mean? NCF didn't repair, despite the success message?

Regards,

Latest:

I switched off then on dm, and guess what. I got new promising message on display Sim201 team #76. So no need to do Optiflash as suggested. It seems to be repaired.

Now, anybody knows how to find dm IP since 192.168.1.77 does not respond?
Lastly, reason that I had no ca found in first place is because I'd been trying to find image and/or second stage loader for Sim201 which does have WLAN drivers.
I got dreambox usb wifi adapter and was hoping to connect dm wireless.
I know it does do anything with this topic, but any idea which image and/or ssl have necessary wifi drivers, as on my current one there is no WLAN option under the dm network settings?

Regards,
