Dreambox 800HD
Clone
SIM 2.01
CA error after installing OpenPLI 3.0

Ik have installed other images before, and also had to repair a few times before this CA error, but now it does not seem to repsoned to anything anymore. I tried all your links, all the instructions.

It will stay stuck at this error, it is not responding to any option of the Optiflasher program.

ps; Just tried the Hyperterminal connection instruction, but it gives me an "O" or a "X", for the rest nothing at all.

I wonder if there is some other option left to try?

Because you are flash original image (must be to flash only Sim2 image)

A lot of threads SOLVED same as your issue....Did you read it ?

It looks like the com port is not working at all, what ever option i choose from your program. It keeps saying it is disconnected. I have the anti-virus disabeld. My serial cable i bought 3 months ago, and the com port of my PC has been working fine up to now, i run windows 7.

I have been flashing and reparing two other CA errors before (3 weeks ago), so i seriously begin to think that the Com port of this dreambox clone is not working anymore :(.

How can i control this?

ps: I opened up the dreambox, and i checked the sim 2.10 ( i have an adapter for reading simcards) and i gives the correct info of dreamcrypt etc. the data on the sim does not look corrupted of damaged

Did you try another pc? another cable Rs232?

Because maybe your problem from connection (PC or Cable)
