Hi
Help please

My dreambox 800hd se Ferrari asked me if i wanded to do a software update like a fool i said yes it was running blackhole dm800se ssl82f

after the update it said fatel error it now boots up a picture of a dreambox the bar graph on the box goes 50% across and stops then goes off and just has a blue standby lamp on

tried to re flash image to it using ferrari filler usb lead loads bootloader then says calculating checksum and does nothing more dream box comes up with ip address on it of 192.168.1.77 reset router to talk to it but deambox not found

down loaded optiflasher and donated set to ferrari sim lower baulldratre and sent bootloader that was sucsessful it then said waiting forweb interface and times out

box will not talk to net even set router to corect family ip range tried to put flash though usb timed out optiflash manager and barry allen dont apear to do anything
any body got any idears cant send image to it and dont know how to unistall the one thats on it
any help please

Don't make online update for clone box..It will be broken your box...

1-Did you have mini flash button in back of box? If yes then press and hold on button and turn on power and continue pressing until you get ip address on small screen then flash new Ferrari image for you box...

2-If don't have mini flash button then you need to flash new image by using optiflasher and both cable(mini usb+lan)
see here how to and follow (Null modem cable only without Network lan) method
P.s: Select loader (LD3 For Ferrari Sim)

Thanks for the help tried it all ways using mode 2 to transfer by usb ownly lan still conected it gets as far as boot success ready for job proccess name open black hole ferrariets then the size 48678496 byts if you click job goes back to the begining leave it does not come up with auth id am i missing something tried couple of images no luck

For DM800SE and DM500HD, Should be use both cables together (mini usb + Lan) in same time ...
And what about mini flash button in back of box, Do you have or not ?

Hi thanks for the reply using both cables no mini flash button usine mode 2 it asks you to confirm network cable in and it is press ok this is as far as it goes

any idea what is not working regards Stagie

noted when box in stop mode ****** STOP no ip adress only dhcp in seriel mode 192.168.1.77 box not talking to router at all done a search for it in router settings does this help
