Hi,
I have a dreambox 800 HD PVR
Clone, as I tried to flash it with an original and it is now blocked.
SIM not known after flash

My box was failling after a storm and I tried to flash it by LAN.
Everything went well, except that after rebooting the box, I got the error message ERR01 : NO CA FOUND.
the problem was that I flashed the box with an original image and I discovered that this is a clone.

So I tried ncf-sim2-v2 and ncf-sim2-v2-5 to repair it with rs232/usb cable but it stays stuck to "Power ON DB Device [Esc to abort]" and nothing happens.

I don't know what else to try, and if anybody has an idea, it would be welcome ! thanks in advance for your help !

No CA FOUND you can solved by Null modem cable (sr232) only you can not with LAN...
So flash bootloader or any image compatible with sim by optiflasher and use "Flashing by Null modem cable only without Network lan" method see this thread how to..

After opening my box I found that I have a e-star sim v3.0
It means that all I read until now is nearly useless :/

I have the RS232 cable, and the box is recognize by optiflash.
How should I proceed with the e-star sim?

Ok... thanks to fairbird, I managed to repair the "no ca found" for an e-star sim v3.0.
For those who has an e-star and might be interested in repairing a No CA found, everything is here (tools, tutorial, image) :

This is how I proceeded :
1/ I downloaded estar-DreamUP from here : [Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
2/ I installed estar_ssl82.nfi using estar-DreamUP.

3/ I installed the estar-gemini2-510-dm800-20100721145005.nfi using LAN Network. image here :

and it seems to be working... well at least no more "No CA Found"!
