Hi my mate had a NO CA ERROR on his DM800se estar V3 sim, i have flashed this image Estar_OpenBlackHole_ES800se_yassinov and its got it back to life, if i try to flash any other image i get this message through web browser in the progress bar i get CRC check skipped.

INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)

then i tried through dreamup 137 from the estar site i can flash #84 then when i try to flash an image i get that message.

i want to install dreamelite image

If you get this error message { INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION) }
So, should be to flash first last bootloader for your sim then close box after that flash new image ...

no this does not work if i flash an #82 or #84 first switch off then switch back on and when i try to install any other image i get this error Flashing failed (!!! 010 INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)), box will be unusable now!!

the only image i can flash is Estar_OpenBlackHole_ES800se_yassinov but this keeps getting a green screen and going into a boot loop

the sim is e-star SIM V3 DM800se

So, try to flash any new image by using fix bad sectors by using optiflasher

or by dreamup for e-star...

1-Flash bootloader 82 by bad sector recovery
2-Again flash last bootloader by bad sector recovery
3-Try to flash new image...if still issue then ask the E-star supported here

tried to flash estar-dm800se-nemesis2.6.nfi after flashing both bootloaders in recover bad sector mode

is it possible to change the sim to an DM800se 2.10 i have a spare one.will it work with the hardware.

Yes you can change the sim, but should be for your box not for another type Sim 800se for 800se box and sim800hd for 800hd box, And not the other way around...

But if you want to change the sim for another Team for example you want change sim e-star to Ferrari do this steps:
1-Don't change sim now leave it on box.
2-Flash new image for new sim (Ferrari image)
3-Turn off power
4-Now change sim.
5-Turn power on.

so i wont even be able to flash an DM800se sim 2.10 image, it s impossible

no not possible to flash another image team in your box...Try to contact e-star support better ...
