r01 no ca found (DM800SE-Ferrari sim) - mattyc94 - 07-11-2012

Hi all,

Yet another n00b with this error :(

Basically I received my dreambox yesterday and flashed it with the latest rammimaher blackhole image. Stupidly I didn't check bootloader, sim etc and bust it pretty quickly getting the "R01 no car found" error.

I have been using Yassinov's repair tool to try and sort it out. It seems to partially repair in that it installs an image which I can navigate around on screen and access the web interface. On the screen of the repair tool it gets to "Finalizing Job Phase2...Please Wait..." and goes no further no matter how long I leave it.

Dreambox 800SE...Ferrarri Sim...2.10

Any help greatly appreciated.

First..i moved thread here in correct section..
Second..Make clear your sim is "Ferrari" or "2.10" there is a difference between the two sim..

Apologies I was looking at the spec on the site I bought it from.

Upon opening the box it's a Ferrari sim.

So your box is Dreambox 800SE Ferrarri....
1-In attach SSl87F last secondstage loader for Ferrari sim download and extract file.
2-Use Optiflasher download it from here [Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
3-Use "Flashing by Null modem cable only without Network lan" method see here
[Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
*flash your SSl87F by select write bootloader.
*Unplug box.
* Use "Flashing by Network lan only" and flash any Ferrari image for DM800se.
*Unplug and plug your box, you will see booting your box again.
P.s: For Ferrari patched image to your box you can find it in Ferrari site..
Google it under "oem made in china"

You Sir are a legend! Folks few tips if you come accross this thread with the same error.

1. Open the box up and check which sim you have - Ferrarri in this case
2. If you get the error relax
3. Get yourself signed up to this forum :)

Thanks for all the help. I ended up going with: OpenBlackHole_Ferrari-dm800se_SSL82F_DTS_CrossEPG_Cron_DEBHGUI_with_AUTO-DVBT_DynDNS_v3 found on the Ferrar forums mentioned below.

P.S. make sure you have a micro usb cable to run from your latptop to the service port on the back of your Dreambox 800SE. Google "CP210x_VCP_Win_XP_S2K3_Vista_7" to get the driver for the cable.
