No flash on DM800 - superscipion - 01-16-2014

Hi Fairbird,
Back with a new problem
router with DHCP on 192.168.1.1
PC on 192.168.1.3
DM800 HD PVR provides 192.168.1.2

I use Optiflasher (of course) with serial cable DB9 for bootloader you provided: everything goes well (see pict 1)

I flash the image with lan only: everything goes well (see pict2)
As soon as I reboot the display of the DM gives "Error" (and only that, not the standard "no CA found")
[attachment=587][attachment=588]
Any idea?
Thanks in advance

RE: No flash on DM600 - superscipion - 01-16-2014

Hi fairbird
I said it was the version of the ssl YOU provided to me (in my former topic concerning my "No CA" question
Sorry for the typing fault: I am writing about a DM800 HD PVR

RE: No flash on DM800 - fairbird - 01-16-2014

Exactly what is the error message on front panel screen?
Dream multimedia >>error!
only

Or (No Ca Found)

RE: No flash on DM800 - superscipion - 01-16-2014

During flash:
Sim201 team
[Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
192.168.1.2
*** STOP ***

After flash successful:
Dream
Multimedia
-> error!
look at [Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
* ERROR: NO CA FOUND

RE: No flash on DM800 - fairbird - 01-16-2014

What image your was flashed and get No Ca Found? Original image or Patched image (I think you was flashed wrong image)
Your sim is Sim2 So must be flash patched image for Sim2 not original or another patched image for another sim
Go to images section you will find image for your sim

RE: No flash on DM800 - superscipion - 01-17-2014

This are the ones I tried (all with the same result):
newnigma2-stable-dm800-v4.0.3.nfi
release-dm800-3.2.4.nfi
OoZooN-Image-dm800-3.2.2.nfi
Merlin-3_OE-1.6-final-dm800-20120515.nfi
Merlin-3_OE-2.0-drhg_SIM2_ssl84D_dm800_18-12-2013.nfi

Makes a lot: most of them coming from Aki's blog
Thanks for your support

RE: No flash on DM800 - fairbird - 01-17-2014

All images what have you tried original images...
only
Merlin-3_OE-2.0-drhg_SIM2_ssl84D_dm800_18-12-2013.nfi

As i said before don't (never) flash original image your box clone not Genuine
-So your solved topic and fix your box
-After fix it just flash patched image for Sim2
here you can find images for your sim
[Only registered and activated users can see links You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.]
And about bootloader just once to flash it to box then you don't need it to flash it again...

RE: No flash on DM800 - superscipion - 01-17-2014

Hi fairbird,
We go further but it is not yet solved

Using Optiflaher, as usually:

I flashed Ssl84D : successful (with DB9)
I flashed the image: successful (with Lan only)
When loading, box is connected to my monitor (scart plug, no lan, no satellite input signal cable)

I have:
Power button blinking (red)
On the LCD display:
Sim201 Team
Then Booting

On the TV: Merlin picture
Then same with wheels

Power button turns off
On The TV: nothing
On the LCD display: DVI followed by Scart followed by YPbPr

Everything is blocked and I need to unplug
Restarting brings back to the same situation

Did I do something wrong?

The two images I used were downloaded from the link you provided and are from the files
